Do an internet search for the word “wherefore.” Take a look at the number of times the word is used to mean “where.”
I haven’t actually counted, and I’m not going to, but I do know that on the first three pages of search results, about a third were pointed to definitions, and about a third

Maybe it’s just me, but this seems to be all over the internet lately.
The phrase is “Hear, hear!” It comes from “Hear ye, hear ye!” or “Hear him, hear him!” and is a reference to “I hear what you’re saying, and I agree.” Think of it as an older way of saying “I heard that!”
